What Gerflor makes
Gerflor covers a broad field. You will find sheet vinyl for health and education, luxury vinyl planks for workplaces, and slip-resistant ranges for wet rooms.
It is also a familiar name in sports flooring, with surfaces made for indoor courts and multi-use halls.
Where Gerflor suits
Because the range is wide, the same brand can serve different parts of one site. A school might use sheet in classrooms and a sports surface in the hall.
- Classrooms, halls and gyms
- Clinics and care homes
- Offices and shared spaces
- Bathrooms and amenities
How Gerflor floors are specified and laid
We begin with the use of the room, since a gym floor and a ward floor are very different. Then we choose a product, check the base and plan the layout.
Sheet and plank products are glued to a smooth slab. Sports floors may use added layers for impact softness, so they need more detailed set-out.
What to ask before you choose
- What activity will the room host?
- Does the floor need grip when wet?
- Is noise between levels a concern?
- Who will maintain the surface?
Gerflor vinyl sheet
Sheet vinyl comes in wide rolls with welded joins, which gives one smooth, easy-to-clean surface.

Is luxury vinyl suitable for a commercial office?
