Flooring range
Commercial carpet tile range
Carpet tiles let you update, repair and rearrange a floor in small pieces. This page explains the idea and lists the makers whose ranges we install.

Why choose carpet in tile form
Tiles also help with planning. Because the squares are small, an installer can work around columns, bulkheads and odd shaped rooms without large offcuts. Floors can be done in stages, which is helpful when a tenant stays in part of the building. If the fit-out changes in a few years, tiles can often be lifted and reused in another area.
A tile floor is easy to live with. When a spot is stained or worn, you replace one tile. When an office layout changes, you lift a few tiles to reach the cables beneath. When the job is big, offcuts are small, so less goes to waste.
The floor stays soft, warm and quiet, like any carpet.
What we install
Our main product page covers the details of how tiles are made, laid and looked after.
Makers of carpet tile
These brands supply the carpet tile ranges we lay. Open a brand page to read about what each one is known for.
Choosing a range
Compare the pile style, the backing and the pattern. Loop piles hide wear well in busy areas, while cut piles feel softer. A strong backing helps the tile lie flat and resist curling.
Think about laying pattern too. Tiles laid in a random direction hide small colour changes, and a fixed direction gives a clean, ordered look.

Questions
Are all carpet tiles the same size?
Most are square and about fifty centimetres a side. Some ranges also offer planks, which are long narrow tiles.
Should I keep spare tiles?
Yes. Keep a small stock from the same batch. Colours can vary slightly between batches, so spares from the original order match closely.
Can carpet tile and vinyl share a room?
Yes. A trim strip joins the two floors, and we plan the join so it sits in a doorway or other natural break.
