Star of the Sea College

This was a very large job: over 2,000 m² of carpet tile through the learning, office and walkway areas of a Brighton college. The tile came from Interface and Armstrong. Its job was to cut noise, resist heavy foot traffic and stay easy to maintain.

Much of the building has older timber floors. We laid Masonite underlay across them first, so the surface became stable and flat. The work was staged to limit disruption, so students and staff could keep using the school while areas were finished one after another.
