Punthill Apartment Hotels, Hughesdale

At this apartment hotel in Hughesdale, we removed the old carpet and underlay and laid new carpet tile in all the designated rooms. The strip-out proved the hardest part, because the carpet was glued firmly to the concrete slab.

The edge gripper had been both glued and nailed down, which made it slow to pull up. We worked carefully so the slab stayed in good condition. After cleaning and preparing the concrete, we laid the tile to give each room a clean, even finish.
