Childcare & early learning
Croydon World of Learning
Croydon North, VIC. Karndean planks for the learning spaces and Polyflor sheet for every wet area in a Croydon North centre.
A childcare centre in Croydon North needed floors that cope with small children, spills and constant walking. Karndean luxury vinyl planks covered the classrooms, corridors and shared areas. The bathrooms and other wet rooms received Polyflor vinyl sheet.
We ground back and levelled the old tiled floor, then laid Masonite underlay to give the planks a flat base. In the wet areas the sheet joints were heat welded and the coving ran up the walls. Metal nosings finish the edge of each stair tread.
